The future of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program

For years, United States of America has been a the destination of people around the world, to come in, work and build a life. However, the current administration's immigration policies has shattered numerous dreams. The current immigrants don’t want to work and live in a country where they are not accepted and are called aliens. In the recent new, we saw the Congress missing the deadline for the DACA renewal and putting the lives of about 1.8 million immigrants on hold.
However, the efforts of the people all around the country might not be lost. Two federal court judges are issuing injunction barring the Trump administration to start with their project of phasing out DACA or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
Wildes & WeinbergAccording to President Trump, former president Obama’s executive action to protect the minors who entered the country illegally from deportation was a legal overreach and needs to be rectified. Whatever the government might say, the demonstrators across the country have raised their fists in order to protect the DREAMers and protest against the administration’s attempt teo end Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

On Wednesday, we saw Homeland Security spokesman Tyler Houlton give the following statement "We note that the DACA protections currently in place due to a court injunction are the result of a likely unconstitutional exercise of executive authority and only good for two years at a time." With the current injunctions, the administration has to keep protecting the young immigrants under DACA. They will be allowed to legally work and stay in the country. DHS can do nothing but comply with the injunctions. Nonetheless, under the present conditions it is advisable to hire immigration lawyers to advise about your case.
